Springfields Motors is a UK-based motor trader specialising in the sale of used vehicles. By purchasing a vehicle from us, customers agree to the terms and conditions set out in this policy.

We accept payment by BACS, cash, and card, all of which are processed directly by Springfields Motors. Full payment is required before any vehicle is released. Deposits may be requested either to reserve a vehicle or to perform specific work at the customer’s request. Deposits are non-refundable after seven calendar days if the vehicle is not purchased, and deposits for requested work are non-refundable in any circumstance.

Customers are permitted to return a vehicle within fourteen calendar days of delivery or collection. The cost of returning the vehicle must be met by the customer. Where a refund is issued, deductions will be made. These include £2 per mile for mileage exceeding the amount recorded at the point of sale, £100 plus VAT for updating the V5C into the company name, £100 plus VAT for valet services, and £200 plus VAT to restock and return the vehicle to retail condition. Springfields Motors reserves the right to reject any return where the vehicle has been damaged, modified, or tampered with. Refunds will not be provided for general wear and tear, and any pre-sale work requested by the customer will not be refunded.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to receive a vehicle that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a customer believes that a fault existed at the time of sale, they must provide supporting evidence. If confirmed, Springfields Motors will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Act.

Where a third-party warranty has been purchased, Springfields Motors accepts no responsibility for the warranty company’s decisions, nor for any rejected claims or breaches of warranty.

Part exchange vehicles are treated as a separate transaction. If a vehicle sold by Springfields Motors is subsequently returned, the part exchange vehicle will not be returned. A trade value may be offered instead, but this is not refundable or reversible.

Springfields Motors limits its liability to the value of the vehicle sold and accepts no responsibility for indirect or consequential damages. Wear and tear, misuse, and lack of maintenance are excluded from liability.

We collect and process personal data, such as name and email address, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This information is used solely to complete transactions and provide customer service and is never shared with third parties.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of England and Wales.
