Vehicle Returns Policy

1. Right to Return

Customers are entitled to return a vehicle purchased from Springfields Motors within 14 calendar days from the date of collection or delivery.

 

2. Return Conditions

The vehicle must be returned at the customer’s own expense.

The vehicle must be in the same condition as at the point of sale.

Any damage, tampering, or modification may result in rejection of the return.

 

3. Charges Applicable on Return

If a vehicle is accepted for return, the following charges will apply:

Mileage: £2 per mile driven beyond the recorded mileage at the point of sale.

V5C Registration Update: £100 + VAT.

Valet: £100 + VAT.

Retail Standard Preparation: £200 + VAT.

 

4. Exclusions

Refunds will not be given for normal wear and tear.

Refunds will not cover any additional work carried out at the customer’s request prior to sale.

 

5. Consumer Rights

If it is evidenced that a fault existed at the time of sale, Springfields Motors will provide a remedy in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

6. Part Exchange Vehicles

Returns do not entitle the customer to the return of any part exchange vehicle, as part exchanges are treated as a separate transaction.
